We are very proud to be able to welcome twice Grammy nominated American singer/songwriter Kim Richey back to Cricklade.

Many members of the Old Stables audience will have previously seen Kim perform and will no doubt agree that she is the most exquisite singer, songwriter and performer that you are likely to see.

But this month we have taken the decision to leave the familiar setting of The Old Stables and invite you all to see and hear Kim perform in the most enchanting setting you can imagine. Just across the road from The Old Stables, St Sampson's Church is a magnificent, imposing structure offering an extraordinary performance space with perfect acoustics and we just know this is going to be a magical experience.

Kim Richey is a traveller, musically, physically and emotionally. Not merely restless or rootless, it defines who she is. Willing to follow where the music leads, she’s landed in Los Angeles, Nashville, London, working with a who’s who of producers and musicians.

Twice Grammy nominated, Kim writes and performs music that flows from the soul and connects in a way that most artists can only aspire to. Sometimes her songs are specific and personal, but they are also true in ways that reflect so many other people’s experiences too. Richey’s sound effortlessly meshes strands of folk, pop, country and occasionally subtle bluegrass for an Americana feast that feels honest, heartfelt and emotionally sincere.

Parking at the church is very limited so please park in the free public car park located behind Tescos on the High Street. It is a 5 minute walk to the church from there.

Doors will open at 7pm with music starting at 7.30pm.

There will be a licensed bar in the church which be serving drinks either side of the performances. Proceeds from the bar will go to the Church restoration appeal.
